On January 12, 2008, following the coronation of Z Krewe's King and Queen Zanie XIV and their Royal Court of Zoots and Zaftigs, the Krewe held its annual Mardi Gras Ball.
The theme for 2008 was "Pirates!," and the Ball was a gala costumed affair, entitled "Le Buccaneer's Bon Temps Ball."
For 2009, the theme is A Salute to Italy! The ball will be held at the Hotel Galvez, on Galveston Island, on January 24, 2009. Click here for room reservation forms!
