Mardi Gras Ball for Special People

On January 27, 2008, Z Krewe Royalty and members participated in Hope Therapy's Mardi Gras Ball for Special People, held at the Moody Gardens Convention Center.  This event is a special ball for people with disabilities and their immediate families and caregivers, and it provides a safe, entertaining, and alcohol-free environment where the season of Mardi Gras can be celebrated by attendees.

Z Krewe has attended this event for many years, and was present again this year, handing out beads, posing for photographs, and generally perpetuating the spirit of Mardi Gras for people who might not otherwise get to enjoy the revelry of the season.
