Fat Tuesday, 2008
Mardi Gras Parade

On Tuesday, February 5, 2008, Galveston's Mardi Gras rolled to an end with a fantastic parade through historic downtown, down Post Office Street and back up the Strand.

And once again, Z Krewe's balcony was occupied.  On this night, it was occupied by Krewe members and some of their family members and friends, who enjoyed learning how to throw beads in a family-friendly atmosphere.

Crowds caught the last flings of beads, and members of the various Krewes' royalty gave toasts to the season.

After the parade, the revelry soon wound down, but plans were already in the works for next year!

But why wait?  Z Krewe's stated mission is to perpetuate the spirit of Mardi Gras ALL YEAR LONG!  So until the next event, "Laissez Les Bon Temps Roulez!"
