Big
Daddy and Big Momma are the Krewe's Head Zanies. Big
Daddy is chosen from the Krewe by the previous Big Daddies. Each Big
Daddy then chooses his Big Momma from the Krewe in secret. She is then
presented to the Krewe at her presentation party.
On April 7,
2009, after a fishing expedition by Big Daddy 15 Leon Kaplan, with
baiting assistance by the other Big Daddys, a new Big Daddy was
found. For Mardi Gras 2010, Z Krewe's
Underwater FantaZy, Big Daddy 16 is Paul Rodgers!
Paul
quickly began his search for his Big Momma. He started with help
from previous Big Daddys, vowing to kiss each and every woman in the
Krewe until he found his Big Momma.
Big Daddy Paul also
told the Krewe about his party, the Low Tide Luau, where Big Momma 16
would be announced. There would be contests for the Loudest
Hawaiian Shirt for the guys, and the Sassiest Sandals for the ladies.
Then,
on August 15, 2009, at the Low Tide Luau, Big Momma 16 was
announced. She had been spotted by Big Daddy long ago, as he
relaxed on a beach. When he saw her and tried to woo her, she
swam away, leaving behind only a pair of bikini bottoms. As Paul
compared the bottoms to tops worn by others, the answer was
revealed...
