ZESTIVAL 2009!
We're Baaack!
That's right - Mardi Gras Galveston
2009 is ON! And Z Krewe will be there, as always, with Zestival, one of the premier Mardi Gras events in
Galveston, and definitely "Z Best
Party in Town!" And once again, we'll be partying above the
Strand in the Trumpets Building!
Mardi Gras 2009 will be held across two
weekends in February 2009, and Zestival will be there throughout! And
this year, our theme is "A Salute to Italy!"
Zestival I
is set for February 14, 2009 (which also happens to be Valentine's Day, lest
any well-intentioned gentlemen forget). You gotta be somewhere
partying that night, sharing it with someone special. Why not
Zestival?! The party starts at 4 pm and runs to midnight. We'll have food with an Italian flare, a full bar (with
some drink tickets thrown in with your admission to Zestival) and a live
band - the Pee Wee
Bowen Band! Plus, guests get to enjoy throwing beads from the balcony to the
Mardi Gras revelers below (beads may be purchased at Zestival). And we
have a bead room for storage of your beads, and restrooms (a rare commodity
during Mardi Gras).
Tickets to Zestival I are
$75, and all
guests must be 21 years or older.
Zestival II
is set for February 20, 2009, and runs from 6 pm to midnight. The
admission price also includes dinner, drink tickets and
a full bar, and a DJ (with some karaoke thrown in for good measure). Plus, guests get to enjoy throwing beads from the balcony to the
Mardi Gras revelers below (beads may be purchased at Zestival). And we
have a bead room for storage of your beads, and restrooms (a rare commodity
during Mardi Gras).
Tickets to Zestival II are
$50, and all
guests must be 21 years or older.
Zestival III
is set for February 21, 2009. The party starts immediately after the
Krewe's noon Processional, and runs until midnight. The admission price
includes lunch and an Italian dinner, drink tickets and a full bar, and a live band -
Houston's own, The Slags! Also, the world-famous
Philadelphia
Mummers will play from our balcony and party with the Krewe.
Plus, guests get to enjoy throwing beads from the balcony to the
Mardi Gras revelers below (beads may be purchased at Zestival). And we
have a bead room for storage of your beads, and restrooms (a rare commodity
during Mardi Gras).
Tickets to Zestival III are
$125, and all
guests must be 21 years or older.
